Morrigan's Curse

The end of the world as a surreal multimedia spectacle. The following lyrics are partly mystical in nature. However, friends, you should bear in mind that, despite my fiction, the planet is not a person of any kind, but a system. With its actions, humanity cannot destroy the planet, only itself. But enough chatter, here are the lyrics:

[Spoken]

From the otherworld, my voice rose in a whisper and swelled into a storm of all-consuming rage.

[Intro]

You have built upon the bones of the earth,

transformed the world into a carcass of your greed,

drunk, poisoned the blood of the earth with your factories.

[Verse]

You destroyed forests out of vain greed.

And I spoke with the roots.

They whispered sadly the names of ancient beings,

the friends and guardians of the animals,

who fell by cruel hands out of rapaciousness.

Forgotten are the gods of the forest.

[Chorus]

The silence of death was my cry.

[Bridge]

So I sang with the storms,

The wind of the ancient deities,

The wind of destruction,

Born from the depths of the world,

Forged by the deeds of dark hearts,

Unstoppable like the end of all existence.

[Chorus]

The wind of death was my cry.

[Verse 2]

So the wrath of the desecrated earth came upon the wicked.

And the breath of the angry entities spewed living fire.

Not one of your works, created from the bones of Gaia, withstood it.

The walls crunched, the ground vomited, metal shattered like glass.

[Chorus]

The wind of destruction was my cry.

[Bridge]

I saw you running through the corridors of emptiness

Your words shattered without sound, without echo.

Your hubris shattered in the fiery breath of the earth

You stood there naked

Without power, without names

Just a soon-forgotten nightmare in the abyss of time.

[Chorus]

The wind of doom was my cry.

[Verse 3]

And the wind devoured you

The wind devoured you.

You stood there naked

Without power

Without names

Just a quickly fading echo.

[Outro]

Your shadows faded

Only the night remained.

The wind moved on

The roots sang their songs of life

The forests rose again

And the old gods sank back into their sleepless dream

[Spoken]

Nothing remained of you, only silence

And a song sung by the dust.
